John Moroney, General Manager of Jones Services, said, “We’re proud to support March for Babies and our technician Jon.”
Jon Broffman is a Jones Services employee who unfortunately lost his child, JD, early in his life due to a condition that required his wife to give birth very prematurely.
Jon is walking because he wants to find a cure for the condition his wife had and to help discover why babies are born too early. He writes on his donation page, “Please help so that they can cure this and it will not have to happen to anyone else.”
Moroney and the Jones Services team are right on board with Jon, supporting him and March for Babies all the way.
March for Babies
The March for Babies website reads: “We help moms have full-term pregnancies and healthy babies. If something goes wrong, we offer information and comfort to families. We research the problems that threaten our babies and work on preventing them.”
When you choose to walk, you are giving hope to the millions of babies that are born too soon each year; you’re giving hope to those millions of families that just want to see their child grow up healthy.
Since 1970, March for Babies has been encouraging people to walk and have raised $2.3 billion thus far.
And the walks are only getting longer. It’s expected that 3 million people will join their friends and family in 700 communities nationwide to walk this year.
To start your walk, or to support a family member or friend in theirs, visit the March for Babies website. And, to help Jon Broffman on his journey, visit his donation page or call Jones Services!
